She has been studying in Switzerland and England (Queen Mary University of London) and has an excellent understanding of both the civil law and the common law traditions. Karin has more than 20 years of working experience in the area of Dispute Resolution and is a dedicated and focused professional. She represents clients in business disputes and often acts in a cross-border context in areas such as international trade, energy, joint ventures and corporate disputes and insolvency matters. She has broad expertise in representing clients in enforcement proceedings and interim relief proceedings and has repeatedly been dealing with recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and awards. In addition, she regularly sits as arbitrator (Sole Arbitrator and Panel of Arbitrators) and has been dealing with arbitration cases under the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration, ICC Rules and Ad-hoc Rules. She regularly speaks, lectures and publishes in her main areas of interest.
