Geraldo Fonseca is a Brazilian lawyer with over 20 years of practice in commercial law, recognized as one of the most admired lawyers in Brazil.
In 2007, Geraldo and his partners founded the firm FVA | Fonseca Vannucci Abreu, which specialized in solving complex matters related to insolvency, credit collection and commercial litigation in general, as well as assisting foreign investors in Brazil.A national reference in the insolvency field, Geraldo has published three books and over 50 articles and essays. Geraldo is a member of the working group of the National Council of Justice in charge of improving insolvency proceedings in Brazil.
Doctor (Ph.D.) and Master of Law (LLM), Geraldo was acknowledged with the Legal Merits Diploma. Geraldo is also a Professor of Law at the Catholic University of Campinas.
Geraldo speaks fluently Portuguese, English, Italian and Spanish.
