Joaquín Rodríguez has over 20 years of practice advising Mexican and International clients on M&A, real estate transactions, joint ventures, corporate and commercial law, private equity and sale/acquisition of assets and shares. Joaquín Rodríguez holds a Law Degree from Universidad Panamericana, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and a Licentiate in International Transactions Involving the US from The University of California, USA.
Additionally, Joaquin has completed other specialized graduate programs in Commercial Law from Universidad Panamericana, Real Estate from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Cyber Law at the University of California, Davis, USA and the University of Cologne, Germany and International Arbitration by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Mexico.
Joaquin is a frequent speaker at leading lawyer associations in Mexico and Latin America, the United States, Canada and Europe, including the American Bar Association (ABA) and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).
He is an active member of the Mexican Bar Association (BMA), ABA and AIJA, where he has held several positions.
Joaquín is co-author of the Mexico’s chapter of the book “China Outbound Investments: A Guide to Law and Practice” published in 2011.
Joaquín is fluent in Spanish, English and German.
