Julia Blind specializes in IP, internet and media law, trademarks, designs, copyright, and unfair competition law. She has legal expertise in providing strategic advice on the protection of IP rights, administration of clients’ trademark portfolios, and advertising campaigns (offline and online).
Julia also has extensive experience in representing her clients in commercial law, including advising clients with international sales and distribution and agency contracts. She regularly litigates for her clients in all her fields of practice.
Julia began practicing law in 1999 and following her successful partnership with another firm founded her own law firm AVANTCORE in 2017.
Julia is a former AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) member, having served as President of Distribution Law Commission, Member of Executive Committee, and National Representative for Germany. Julia is proud of her final contribution to AIJA as Chair of the 2016 Annual Congress in Munich.
Julia serves as Chair of the south-west chapter of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
Julia lectures regularly on internet and social media law and publishes articles on current judgments and current legislative projects in various media.
