Thomas has been practicing law since 2012. After graduating from the Leiden University of Law, he gained experience at IP boutiques and medium-sized law firms. He worked extensively for the BREIN Foundation (“Stichting BREIN”), an organization dedicated to protecting copyrights in the digital market. He now runs a litigation and advisory practice and focuses primarily on intellectual property, IT, media, and privacy law.
Thomas specializes in complex IP issues, drafting (IT) contracts, and working with clients to develop strategies for protecting intellectual property, bringing value to data, and protecting data. In a society where privacy is becoming increasingly important due to digitalization and big data, Thomas also focuses on compliance in this area.
Thomas speaks fluent English and Dutch and has a basic understanding of German.
